Three film students venture into the Maryland woods to document the legend of the Blair Witch, a malevolent entity said to haunt the forest for centuries. Armed only with cameras and audio equipment, they seek to separate folklore from fact. Instead, the forest becomes an inescapable maze where rational thought collapses into paranoia, every sound a harbinger of doom, and the camera records not answers but the psychological unraveling of three people confronting something that refuses to be understood.
