In the heart of a violet forest, an old house awaits young girls.

Seven schoolgirls enter an ancestral mansion where reality fractures into dreamlike terror. The house itself becomes a living entity—walls breathe, gravity fails, time bends. Surrealism bleeds into body horror as the building devours its inhabitants through kaleidoscopic, increasingly unhinged set pieces. Obayashi's 1977 masterwork dissolves logic in favor of pure visceral dread and experimental visual syntax.
