Young Rosemary Woodhouse moves into a decaying Manhattan apartment with her husband and quickly becomes pregnant. As her gestation advances, she grows convinced that her neighbours, her physician, and even her devoted husband are orchestrating a sinister conspiracy around her pregnancy. Plagued by inexplicable ailments, nightmarish visions, and the suffocating attention of those closest to her, Rosemary spirals into paranoia.
