A young man arrives at an isolated island lighthouse to relieve the previous keeper, only to discover his predecessor has vanished under mysterious circumstances. Each night, prehistoric creatures rise from the black waters surrounding the station, intelligent and relentless. Caught between encroaching madness and undeniable terror, he must forge an uneasy alliance with a mysterious woman to survive the darkness closing in.
