When the dead rise in a cascading plague of reanimation, a film student and his crew document the apocalypse through their cameras. Fleeing across devastated roads, these young cinematographers capture raw horror and moral collapse as civilization crumbles. Romero meditates on the act of witnessing itself—the burden of the chronicle, the ethics of the frame—as survival and storytelling become inseparable.
